Raytheon will deliver Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM) to Pakistan after a contract modification added the country to the customer list, according to a statement dated September 30. The $41.6 million firm-fixed-price modification covers enhanced C-8 and D-3 variants and related production.
With the change, the contract’s cumulative value rises to about $2.512 billion from $2.471 billion. Work is set to take place in Tucson, Arizona, with completion targeted for May 30, 2030. The programme involves foreign military sales across a broad set of allies spanning Europe, the Middle East and Asia, now including Pakistan.
The report framed the arms deal within a broader warming in Pakistan–US ties, noting recent diplomatic engagements and commercial understandings aimed at investment and trade.
