Petrol drops to Rs352.59 as new fuel prices take effect November 6

The federal government has reduced petrol and high-speed diesel prices for November 6, extending the recent decline in Pakistan’s fuel rates. Petrol has been cut by Rs9.41 per litre, while high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs5.56 per litre under the latest revision.

Following the adjustment, the ex-depot price of petrol will fall from Rs362 to Rs352.59 per litre. High-speed diesel will now cost Rs382.25 per litre, compared with the previous rate of Rs387.81.

The revised prices take effect on November 6, 2026. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority announced the new rates through a press release issued under the petroleum-products pricing mechanism approved by the federal government.

The latest reduction follows another downward revision that applied on November 5. Under that adjustment, petrol became cheaper by Rs7.06 per litre and was fixed at Rs362, while high-speed diesel was reduced by Rs3.71 to Rs387.81 per litre.

Taken together, the November 5 and November 6 revisions have lowered petrol by Rs16.47 per litre. High-speed diesel has fallen by Rs9.27 per litre across the same two adjustments.

The new rates are ex-depot prices, which form the official basis for petroleum pricing before the fuel reaches consumers through the distribution and retail network. The reductions provide additional relief to motorists and businesses that depend on petrol or diesel for transport and operations.

The regulator said the adjustment was calculated according to the government-approved pricing framework. Any subsequent change will depend on another official price publication issued under that mechanism.
