Reports filed to the tracking site Downdetector showed a surge in complaints during the disruption, with problems gradually subsiding as services came back online. Cloudflare, which powers a significant share of global web traffic, provides content delivery and DDoS protection that help sites stay responsive during traffic spikes and security incidents.
