KOHAT: A lady doctor was shot dead on KDA Double Road in Kohat after assailants opened fire as she was returning home from duty.
Police said the doctor was travelling in a rickshaw when armed men targeted her, resulting in her death.
Following the incident, doctors staged a protest and demanded the immediate arrest of those responsible.
The Young Doctors Association said the protest and strike would continue until the suspects are apprehended.
