Pakistan’s mutual fund industry reached a new peak in January 2026, with total assets under management (AUMs) rising to Rs. 4.317 trillion, according to an industry note cited by Arif Habib Limited (AHL).
The data showed equity AUMs climbed 11% month-on-month to a record Rs. 748 billion, accounting for about 17% of the industry’s total assets. Meanwhile, debt AUMs edged down 1% month-on-month to Rs. 3.569 trillion.
The update points to stronger equity-side inflows and improved market momentum during the month, even as debt-side holdings softened slightly.
