KARACHI: The Sindh Education Department has issued Ramadan timings for public and private educational institutions across the province.
For primary schools operating a single shift, the department set working hours from 8:00am to 12:30pm. For schools running double shifts, the first shift will operate from 7:30am to 11:30am and the second shift from 11:45am to 2:45pm.
On Fridays, single-shift primary schools will operate from 8:00am to 11:30am. For double shifts on Fridays, the first shift will run from 7:30am to 10:30am while the second shift will operate from 11:45am to 1:15pm.
For secondary, higher secondary and elementary schools, the department set the single shift from 7:30am to 11:30am. Where double shifts apply, the first shift will be from 7:30am to 11:30am and the second from 11:45am to 2:45pm.
Friday timings for these schools mirror the primary schedule: 8:00am to 11:30am for single shift, and 7:30am to 10:30am plus 11:45am to 1:15pm for double shifts.
