Karachi Airport Police recovered a jacket and valuables belonging to British police officer Duncan Woray after he misplaced them at Jinnah International Airport, officials said on Tuesday.
Airport SHO Kaleem Moosa told Geo News that Woray arrived in Karachi on October 5 on flight QR610 and left the terminal with his wife. Later that evening, he informed the Airport Police that he had accidentally left his jacket on a luggage trolley in the parking area.
According to the police, the jacket contained keys, cash in British pounds, the officer’s UK Police Service identification card, and other important cards and documents. Officers initiated a search immediately after the complaint and tracked down the misplaced items, which were returned to Woray in full.
The visiting officer thanked Karachi Airport Police for their swift response and professionalism following the incident.
