Veteran Lollywood artist Asim Bukhari died on Thursday after a prolonged illness, according to family members. He was 76 and had been receiving treatment in hospital for around two weeks for kidney- and heart-related complications.
His family said he went into a coma on Wednesday night before passing away. Funeral prayers were scheduled for after Asr at Jamia Mosque near his residence in Lahore.
