Pakistan’s central bank reported a modest weekly improvement in its foreign exchange position, with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reserves increasing by $19.1 million for the week ending February 13, 2026.
The SBP said its holdings rose to $16.196 billion from $16.177 billion a week earlier. However, the country’s overall liquid foreign exchange reserves declined by $73.2 million to $21.3015 billion compared with $21.3747 billion in the previous week.
The report added that net reserves held by commercial banks stood at $5.104 billion, reflecting a weekly decrease of $92.3 million.
