Gold rates in Pakistan moved lower on Monday after a drop in international prices, with the local market recording another decline.

According to figures shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), gold fell by Rs. 3,200 per tola to Rs. 523,762. The price of 10-gram gold also decreased by Rs. 2,743 to Rs. 449,041.

Silver prices followed the same direction, slipping by Rs. 55 to Rs. 8,164 per tola.

Internationally, gold was reported to have dropped by $32 to $5,010 per ounce, including a $20 premium, which traders said influenced the softer trend in local rates.
