The federal government has raised the ex-depot price of high-speed diesel by Rs1.91 per litre while keeping the price of motor spirit, commonly called petrol, unchanged.

High-speed diesel will cost Rs393.66 per litre from October 24 to October 26, 2026, compared with the previous price of Rs391.75. Petrol will remain at Rs377.71 per litre throughout the three-day period.

The diesel revision represents an increase of approximately 0.49% from the previous rate. Consumers purchasing petrol will see no price change during the same period.

The Ministry of Energy's Petroleum Division said the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority revised the prices under the federal government's petroleum-pricing mechanism. The revised rates take effect on October 24 and remain applicable through October 26.

The Petroleum Division attributed the adjustment to global developments, including changes in Platts benchmark rates, premiums and incidental costs. Further product-pricing details are available through the regulator's official price-publications section.
