Cambridge International Education has confirmed that it is aware of reports about an alleged A-Level question paper leak in Pakistan, after claims linked to the AS Mathematics Paper 1 spread rapidly across social media on Wednesday.

The reported incident involves the Pure Mathematics 1 paper, coded 9707, from the June 2026 examination series. According to circulating claims, versions of the paper appeared online before the scheduled afternoon exam, triggering concern among students, parents and school administrators.

The controversy gained momentum after students and social media users alleged that both unsolved and solved copies of the paper were shared through platforms including Reddit and WhatsApp. Some accounts claimed the material had surfaced late Tuesday night, while others said it was available several hours before candidates entered examination halls.
