Pakistan Successfully Tests Fateh-II Missile System

Pakistan successfully conducted a training launch of the indigenously developed Fateh-II missile system on Tuesday, marking another major defence milestone at a time of heightened regional security focus. The launch was carried out by the Army Rocket Force Command, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations.

The ISPR said the Fateh-II system is equipped with advanced avionics and modern navigational aids designed to improve accuracy, battlefield survivability and operational effectiveness. The president, prime minister, chief of defence forces and services chiefs also congratulated the participating troops, scientists and engineers. Their appreciation highlighted the national importance attached to the programme and the role of technical teams in strengthening Pakistan’s defence preparedness.

The Fateh series has become an important part of Pakistan’s broader conventional strike capability, reflecting the country’s focus on precision, mobility and domestic defence production.
