Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan has been nominated for the ICC Player of the Month award following a prolific T20 World Cup 2026 campaign. ProPakistani reported that he topped the tournament’s run charts with 383 runs, scoring at a strike rate of 160.25 and averaging 76.60.

During the tournament, Farhan broke the record for the most runs in a single edition of the Men’s T20 World Cup, surpassing the previous mark of 319. He also became the first batter to score two centuries in one edition of the event, with hundreds against Namibia and Sri Lanka.
