Islamabad Traffic Police have prepared a citywide traffic management plan as Eid-ul-Fitr shopping activity intensifies in markets across the federal capital.

According to the plan, 470 traffic officers have been deployed at major shopping areas to manage congestion, guide motorists and maintain smoother movement during the rush period.

Authorities said strict action will be taken against hooliganism, drifting and one-wheeling on key roads. Shoppers have also been urged to park only in designated areas and report violations through the traffic helpline 1915 or Pukar-15.
