Pakistan launches fresh strikes on militant hideouts in Afghanistan

Pakistan Army carried out a new round of airstrikes under Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, targeting what security sources described as militant hideouts and linked installations inside Afghanistan. The operation focused on sites associated with the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij, with multiple locations reported hit during the overnight action.

According to Dunya News, the strikes damaged infrastructure tied to the 313 Corps in Kabul and also hit the Tarawa camp in Kandahar, including oil storage and logistics facilities. Another strike targeted the Shirinaw camp in Paktia, where officials said key militant positions were affected.

Security sources said the campaign would continue until all designated targets are neutralised. The operation follows earlier cross-border actions this week and reflects Islamabad’s effort to curb militant activity and prevent further attacks along the Pakistan-Afghanistan frontier.
