Pakistan has revised its visa issuance procedure for foreign nationals in response to evolving regional conditions and security concerns.
The Interior Ministry has discontinued on-arrival and prior-to-arrival visa options. Under the new framework, visas will be issued only through Pakistani embassies and diplomatic missions.
Applications may still be submitted through the existing online portal, but each case will be routed to the relevant embassy for processing. Clearance from the concerned mission will be required before a visa is granted.
