The federal government has revised petroleum prices for the next fortnight, raising the rates of both petrol and high-speed diesel through an official notification.
Under the updated pricing, petrol has been increased by Rs. 8 per litre, while high-speed diesel has been raised by Rs. 5.16 per litre. The new rates are set to apply for 15 days.
According to the notification, the changes take effect from March 1, 2026, following recommendations shared by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
After the revision, high-speed diesel has been fixed at Rs. 280.86 per litre, compared with the previous rate of Rs. 275.70 per litre. Petrol has been set at Rs. 266.17 per litre for the same period.
The government indicated the prices will be reviewed again after the fortnight, in line with prevailing market conditions.
