PIA Opens Cabin Crew Recruitment Ahead of New Aircraft Induction

Pakistan International Airlines has opened recruitment for new cabin crew as the national carrier prepares for the planned induction of additional aircraft into its fleet. The airline intends to deploy successful candidates on newly inducted aircraft as well as routes being added to its operations, linking the hiring drive directly with its staffing requirements for future services.

Interested candidates have been asked to submit applications online. Applicants are required to upload an updated curriculum vitae along with a recent photograph as part of the recruitment process. Previous professional experience is not compulsory, according to the recruitment criteria. Applicants who already hold valid flying authorisation will also receive preference, potentially benefiting candidates with prior cabin crew experience or relevant aviation credentials.

Language and communication abilities are another important part of the eligibility criteria. Candidates are expected to have strong spoken and written English skills. Knowledge of additional languages will be treated as an advantage, particularly because cabin crew working on international services regularly interact with passengers from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds. PIA is also seeking applicants with strong communication abilities, professional presentation and a service-oriented approach.

Physical eligibility requirements have also been specified. Female applicants must be at least 160 centimetres tall, while male applicants must have a minimum height of 168 centimetres. These requirements form part of the airline's published recruitment conditions alongside education, age and communication standards.

The recruitment drive comes as PIA prepares staffing arrangements for new aircraft and routes.
