Kuwait Offers Fuel Support for Pakistani Vessels

Kuwait has offered facilitation for diesel and jet fuel supplies to Pakistani-flagged vessels after a meeting in Islamabad between Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik and Kuwait's Ambassador to Pakistan, Nasser Abdulrahman Jassim Al-Mutairi.

According to the official statement cited in the report, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation agreed to extend cooperation to support possible fuel shipments from Kuwait for Pakistani ships. The move is aimed at strengthening Pakistan's operational fuel availability for maritime and aviation needs.

During the meeting, the petroleum minister welcomed Kuwait's assurance and noted that Pakistan has been importing petroleum products, especially diesel, from Kuwait for more than five decades. The Kuwaiti side also reaffirmed support for Pakistan amid regional and global challenges, while Islamabad highlighted its broader diplomatic efforts to encourage stability in the region.
