Pakistan emerges as channel for possible US-Iran talks

The source said the venue for any talks has not been finalised, though Pakistan and Turkiye are both under consideration.

The report places Islamabad at the centre of a fast-moving back-channel effort involving regional actors trying to prevent a broader conflict. Pakistani officials have already publicly signalled their willingness to facilitate dialogue, while analysts note that Pakistan has a direct stake in avoiding a prolonged crisis because of security spillovers and fuel-market disruption.
