Tarar says Imran Khan’s sons can visit Pakistan on NICOP

Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has said that Imran Khan’s sons, Kasim and Sulaiman, may travel to Pakistan on their National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis, describing them as Pakistani citizens who do not require visas for entry. He also said any visit would take place in accordance with Pakistani law.

The statement came as discussion continued over family access to the jailed PTI founder amid concerns surrounding his health. Tarar added that a phone call between Imran Khan and his children would be arranged on Eid, as has been done previously.

The remarks introduce a more accommodating official position on the family’s possible visit, while keeping the matter tied to legal compliance and prison procedures.
