Fresh medical board examines Imran Khan at Adiala jail

A newly constituted medical board examined former prime minister Imran Khan at Adiala jail after directions from the Islamabad High Court. Jail officials said the panel, made up of specialist doctors and supporting medical staff, carried out a detailed assessment and will submit its findings to the Islamabad chief commissioner.

The review comes amid legal proceedings over Khan’s health and treatment arrangements. Court directions require the administration to evaluate his condition formally and determine, through the competent authority, whether treatment should continue inside the prison or whether any outside medical transfer is warranted under the law.
