Pakistani dies in Abu Dhabi after missile debris falls in residential area

A Pakistani national was killed in Abu Dhabi after debris from an intercepted missile fell in the Bani Yas area, according to reporting cited by ProPakistani. Authorities in the UAE identified the victim as a Pakistani citizen, underscoring how regional military escalation is spilling beyond the main conflict zone and affecting expatriate communities.

The report said this was not an isolated case. Another Pakistani had previously died in Dubai’s Al Barsha area after interception debris struck a vehicle, while a fisherman from Gwadar was also reported killed in Iranian waters when missile debris hit his boat. In a separate incident earlier this month, six Pakistani and Nepalese nationals were injured in Abu Dhabi amid heightened aerial activity.

The episode adds to concerns over the safety of Pakistanis working across the Gulf as tensions linked to the broader Iran-centered regional conflict continue to create risks for civilians living far from the original battlegrounds.
