The Ministry of Religious Affairs has directed private Hajj operators to complete visa processing for Hajj 2026 by March 15, ahead of the Saudi deadline of March 20. The ministry said the instruction is intended to avoid delays caused by the Eid holiday or any other last-minute administrative issues.
Officials told operators that the Saudi timeline is strict and that no extension or relaxation is expected beyond the announced deadline. Hajj companies have also been asked to ensure that their pilgrims’ documentation is completed well in advance and to submit daily progress reports.
The report added that some private-sector representatives are seeking a short relaxation because of the tight schedule. Even so, the government says it is pressing ahead with the process to make sure Pakistani pilgrims are not affected by avoidable delays.
