The National Database and Registration Authority has warned the public about a fraudulent website impersonating its official visa portal in an apparent attempt to steal personal information and payments. Nadra said the fake site is not connected to the authority and urged citizens not to enter any data on it.

The authority advised people to use only official government portals ending in .gov.pk and reminded users that its genuine visa service is hosted through the proper Nadra domain. It said any suspicious website, email or message asking for sensitive personal details should be treated with caution.

Separately, the National Cyber Emergency Response Team reported that multiple fake Nadra-style websites had already been blocked in recent weeks. Officials said monitoring and action against such cyber fraud campaigns are continuing.
