Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi lauded the national side after a 3–0 one-day international series sweep of Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi. They praised the team’s form and the unifying power of the sport, urging fans to keep backing the players.

Pakistan chased 212 in 44.4 overs to take the third ODI by six wickets, sealing the clean sweep after also winning the T20I series. Fakhar Zaman (55) and Mohammad Rizwan (fifty) anchored the pursuit following disciplined bowling that limited Sri Lanka to a modest total.

Naqvi singled out fast bowler Haris Rauf for consistent performances that earned him player-of-the-series honours, and credited players, coaches and management for back-to-back dominant displays.

Team leaders said the series underscores depth and momentum as Pakistan look ahead to upcoming international assignments, with officials calling on supporters to “trust and believe” in the squad.
