Pakistan’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting dismissed as “baseless” reports carried by Indian media that Islamabad had removed the long-standing clause on its passport barring travel to Israel. Officials also rejected a separate claim that Pakistan was preparing to deploy 20,000 troops to Gaza under Western or Israeli supervision, calling it entirely false. They stressed Pakistan has never recognised Israel and maintains consistent support for Palestinian self-determination.
