Speaking to overseas Pakistanis in London alongside Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, the premier said he took Pakistan’s concerns to the United Nations General Assembly, raising both the Kashmir dispute and the situation in Gaza. He praised expatriates as a national asset and credited teamwork for progress on diplomatic, economic and military fronts. He noted the economy had shifted from instability to an improving trajectory. On Gaza, the prime minister offered prayers for peace and called for an end to the conflict, saying tens of thousands of Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s ongoing campaign. He also pointed to improved ties with the United States following his meeting with President Trump, expressing hope the relationship would strengthen further. Deputy PM Ishaq Dar said global forums had acknowledged Pakistan’s economic work, citing falling interest rates and inflation. He added that a meeting between President Trump and Muslim leaders on Gaza had taken place and voiced optimism about its outcome.
