Sindh schools to resume with a two-day weekend

Sindh has announced the resumption of on-campus education from April 1, with schools, colleges, and universities returning to physical classes after the temporary online arrangement.

Officials said institutions across the province will now operate on a Monday-to-Friday schedule, effectively giving students and staff a two-day weekend. The government had suspended regular classes from March 16 to March 31 while institutions continued limited academic activity under austerity-related measures.

The decision also coincides with the start of the new academic year in Sindh, making it one of the day’s most widely discussed education developments for parents, teachers, and students across the province.
