A viral video allegedly filmed inside the operation theatre of Lady Willingdon Hospital in Lahore has prompted disciplinary action and public anger. The footage appeared to show doctors and staff behaving in an unprofessional manner during surgical procedures, with reports claiming two Caesarean operations were underway at the same time while some participants treated the situation like a competition.

The Punjab government took notice after the clip spread widely online. The Department of Specialised Healthcare sought explanations from hospital authorities and suspended the postgraduate training of four doctors pending further review.
