Karachi police recover abducted child after Seaview scare

Karachi police said they have safely recovered a three-year-old girl who was reported missing after an alleged abduction incident at Seaview Beach during the Eid holidays.

According to investigators, the child disappeared while her family was at the beach and a kidnapping case was later registered at Darakhshan police station. Police circulated her details and photographs on social media as part of the search effort.

The girl was eventually found near Jackson Masan Chowk and reunited with her family. Authorities said one suspect, identified as Abubakar, has been taken into custody and further investigation is continuing.

Police also said that large Eid crowds at Seaview led to several cases of children getting separated from their families, though many were later traced and returned.
