UAE-based Pakistanis pledge aid for martyrs' families

The Pakistan Social Centre in Sharjah has announced financial support for the families of Pakistanis killed in the recent conflict in the United Arab Emirates. Community representatives said each bereaved family would receive Rs1 million, with the initiative also intended to support the education of the martyrs' children.

Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah president Chaudhry Khalid Hussain said the assistance would cover the families of identified victims including Mureed Zaman and Muzaffar Ali. He described the package as part of a wider community effort to stand with the affected households and help secure the children's academic future.

Pakistan's Consul General in Dubai, Hussain Mohammad, thanked overseas Pakistanis for their solidarity and generosity, saying the community had demonstrated that it had not forgotten the fallen. The funds are to be distributed through the Pakistan Consulate in Dubai.
