Magnitude 4.5 quake shakes Khuzdar region

An earthquake was felt in Khuzdar and nearby areas of Balochistan, causing panic among residents who rushed out of their homes. The tremors were widely felt across the district and surrounding localities.

The seismic monitoring centre said the earthquake measured 4.5 in magnitude and occurred at a depth of 14 kilometres. Despite the shock, no immediate reports of casualties or property damage were received.

Authorities continued to monitor the situation as residents remained alert after the tremor. The incident renewed concerns in quake-prone parts of Balochistan where even moderate seismic activity can trigger public fear.
