PSX jumps past 153,000 as market rallies sharply

Pakistan’s stock market staged a strong rebound on Wednesday, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index climbing above 153,000 points during intraday trade. The surge extended the recovery seen a day earlier and reflected renewed buying interest at the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

According to the report, the index added more than 3,000 points during the session and touched 153,627 points. The move came after the market had already posted gains in the previous trading session, suggesting a marked improvement in investor sentiment.

Dunya News also noted that regional equity markets showed mixed performance as traders continued to react to wider geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Even so, Pakistan’s market outperformed sharply on the day, making the rally one of the strongest local business developments of the morning.
